Gisborough Hall Country House Hotel & Spa - Guisborough

4-star country house hotel with AA Rosette dining and woodland Sakura Spa on the edge of the North York Moors

Dining

Gisborough Hall Country House Hotel & Spa Guisborough holds an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence, a recognition awarded to its fine-dining Chaloner's Restaurant. The hotel also operates De Brus Bar & Grill, a more informal venue serving pizza, steaks, and grilled salmon. Both restaurants use locally sourced ingredients, and the full Yorkshire breakfast includes local bacon, sausages, and eggs.

Spa & Wellness

The Sakura Spa is tucked within peaceful woodland grounds and offers immersive wellness retreats, spa days, and treatments. Facilities include two outdoor saunas with large picture windows overlooking the countryside, plus outdoor relaxation areas that blend with the environment. Treatments range from full body massages to manicures and pedicures, all provided by highly trained therapists.

Accommodation

The hotel has 71 individually styled en-suite bedrooms, including luxurious Old Hall Feature Rooms with original period features dating back to the time of Henry VIII. Guests can also stay in the modern Woodland Wing with king rooms or choose one of the luxurious Shepherd Huts inspired by nature, each with a copper bathtub and outdoor hot tub. Many rooms offer views of the Cleveland Hills and the hotel's rose gardens and woodland.

The hotel offers complementary parking, an electric vehicle charging station, and outdoor pursuits such as cycling, hiking, and tennis.
